The Guard and the Children

There are few RPG video game character designs that influenced these three figures. The guard with the huge blade was inspired by Final Fantasy 9 as well as the little girl in the ridiculous frock (pardon that the guard looks like he's tilting to one side). The young lad at the bottom is inspired by Chrono Cross, with his little flying pet modeled after the one in Terranigma.

Does it say something that I'm influenced by the common ordinary-ness of video game townspeople rather than the heroic statures of the main character and the major players? Uuuh...probably not, but it was a stupid question anyway.
